Longevity organizations supporting the next generation of professionals
Meet the 2025 Xplore Program Industry Partners
The longevity biotech industry redefines human lifespan and healthspan as currently perceived. By targeting the root biological causes of aging, it captures the unique opportunity to shift medicine from reactive to preventative. At LongX, our mission is to help longevity-interested individuals learn about and apply their skills in this emerging space, regardless of background, geographical location, ideology and age.
This is how the Xplore Program, the LongX flagship initiative, was started. Designed to help students and early-career professionals take their first serious step into the longevity biotech ecosystem, the fellowship unfolds in three parts:
Education, through longevity primer courses on aging biology and longevity ventures.
Incubation via weekly workshops, fireside chats with industry experts, and guided sessions focused on entrepreneurship in longevity.
Career Development Experience (CDE), a 2–3 month hands-on experience with one of our industry partners, contributing to high-impact projects in research, development, and operations.
This year, fellows were matched with 1 of 12 leading organizations across the longevity biotech sector, as follows:
1. Frontier Bio
Frontier Bio develops lab-grown human tissues using advanced 3D bioprinting and stem cell technologies to replace animal testing and address organ shortages. Backed by scientific advisor George Church, the company aims to make the organ transplant waitlist obsolete by developing on-demand organs.
2. Ora Biomedical
The company, launched in 2022 from the University of Washington, utilizes AI-driven robotics (WormBot-AI) to screen small molecules that extend lifespan and delay chronic illnesses by targeting aging mechanisms.
3. Ichor Life Sciences
Since 2013, Ichor operates as a full-service contract research organization (CRO) and longevity biotech company, offering services from preclinical studies to clinical trials, with a focus on age-related diseases.
4. NeuroAge Therapeutics
The early-stage company NeuroAge Therapeutics aims to rejuvenate the brain and combat neurodegenerative diseases by developing drugs that reverse brain aging, using AI and multi-omics data. The company developed the NeuroAge Test to predict dementia risk up to 30 years in advance.
5. Cyclarity Therapeutics
Cyclarity is tackling cardiovascular aging by aiming directly at arterial plaque. Using cyclodextrin-based chemistry, it’s working to reverse atherosclerosis at the molecular level.
6. Norn Group
The U.S.-based non-profit is committed to accelerating research and development of therapies targeting the biology of aging. Established in 2021, Norn Group supports various initiatives, including funding academic research through Impetus Grants, fostering collaboration via Longevity Nexus, and advocating for biomarker development.
7. AgeRate
AgeRate leverages advanced epigenetic testing to provide personalized insights into biological aging, guiding users to optimize their longevity. Through a simple at-home blood test, Agerate offers tailored recommendations for diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Their CLIA and CAP-certified labs deliver reliable, physician-reviewed results, empowering individuals to benchmark their health and take proactive steps toward a healthier and longer life.
8. Alpine Institute
Alpine Institute is a Swiss-based non-profit dedicated to advancing preventive and longevity medicine by developing innovative diagnostic tools aimed at early intervention in the aging process.
9. Deep Knowledge Group (DKG)
DKG is a global consortium focused on DeepTech and Longevity industries, aiming to drive innovation through AI-driven analytics, strategic investments, and the development of financial infrastructure for the longevity sector. Active since 2014, DKG has established a vast ecosystem, including the world’s largest healthy aging database, mapping over 50,000 companies and 10,000 investors across the longevity sector.
10. Public Longevity Group (PLG)
PLG is an intelligence-driven strategy lab bridging longevity with public understanding through cultural intelligence, narrative strategy, and sentiment modeling. Their data engine delivers precision cultural intelligence and actionable narrative strategy to the longevity ecosystem.
11. Healthspan Action Coalition (HSAC)
HSAC is a global alliance of organisations accelerating equitable access to healthspan-promoting innovations. HSAC brings together stakeholders across science, policy, and advocacy to drive forward a longevity agenda focused on improving both lifespan and healthspan for all.
12. LongX
Longevity Xplorer (LongX) is a non-profit organisation born with the mission to empower longevity-interested people globally to learn about, and contribute to, longevity science and industry, regardless of their geographical location, academic background and financial situation. LongX strongly emphasises the need and willingness to support youth, early-career adults, or adults transitioning to longevity but it is not limited to this demographic.
By working with these companies, the fellows will push forward initiatives that span the full spectrum of longevity innovation, from drug discovery and platform development to science communication and content creation. Their work reflects the dynamic needs of the field and contributes to building its next frontier.
